Garden Lilies for the Win!

This “cover photo” gives you a tiny glimpse into my little scrapping area. It is all, just a corner of my family room – but everything is also basically within arms reach, as well.

I loved making this card! It has about 5 layers of card-stock on the front, and has a delightfully heavy feel to it.

I used the Garden Lily, and added some small Hydrangeas to tuck in there.

On the inside I stamped an image directly to the card, and had fun water coloring it last night. Just in time for Easter – obviously I don’t have the sentiment (from Creative Expressions) glued in yet – because I can’t decide if it’s for Easter or Mothers Day!

A Z-fold Card with Dimensional Flowers

I scrap-lifted this from the Heartfelt Creations Facebook page, an on-line tutorial by Carrie Giletto. Hers included a pocket for a gift card or money – mine does not – I placed a sentiment there instead.

I made a couple of Wild Roses in light pink, and a couple of lilies in yellow, plus small white blossom tucked in here and there. This slimline die is my favorite!

I used a little flower from the Tender Moments collection to add to the heart on front, and a sentiment from Creative Expressions is tucked inside, on the middle panel.

The large “empty” area has been left blank intentionally, to allow for a more personal message.

Garden Lilies on Cards

Just a couple of cards to quickly share, using Heartfelt Creations Garden Lily paper Collection.

Additionally, I have utilized one of the newer slimline card dies, and one of the arched gateway dies as well. this first card has my newest sentiment from Creative Expression “On Your Wedding Day” – I’d been looking for it forever!!

The lower card also has a sentiment from the Floral Frames die cuts.

Garden Lilies and Roses for Mothers Day

It’s never too soon to start making Mothers Day Cards, or Christmas Cards – especially if you have 75-80 to prepare to give out!!

This card uses pale blue Classic roses, two of the Garden Lilies, several little lilacs and many different types of foliage.

I love the newer slimline dies from Heartfelt Creations, this has the cute scalloped edges, which is replicated on the inside of the card, and adds a nice little touch.

Thanks so much for stopping by – new get to making your own Mothers Day Cards!!

Beautiful Lilies on Cards

If you play with some of these flowers, and springtime colored papers long enough, you might be able to forget that it’s not actually Spring outside yet!

Heartfelt Creations has come up with another sure winner in the Garden Lily collection – not that they ever fail to disappoint – but this is one of my top three favorites (the other two were the Wild Rose, and the Sweet Peony).

Now I recognize that Valentines has come and gone, but I still wanted to share these beautiful lilies, some call this the Star Gazer Lily, I always called it the Rubrum Lily – it’s one of the favorites of brides (back in the day when I used to make Wedding Cakes, this had to be made for almost every other cake) – and so I enjoyed fashioning out of paper, and adding some speckles, just like the real flowers have.

These yellow lilies remind me of early summer in my backyard. Tiny white snowdrops to accent the lilies help set them off, as well.

I love sharing my cards with you, my friends! Thank you so much for stopping by. Now get crafting!!

Beautiful Floral Frames & Beautiful Sentiments

One of Heartfelt Creations newer paper collections, Floral Frames, features not only beautiful paper, but also beautiful sentiments, stamps and dies that fit perfectly!

I also used some of the newer slimline dies for lacy accents – very very fun happenings!

I just love the paper, the backgrounds are beautiful, the color pallet is extremely appealing to me, and I just needed these dies!!

Isn’t this just gorgeous?!! I die cut this straight from the paper pad, and added a sentiment die from Creative Expressions in black – I personally think it’s very eye catching!

Here is a little close up of my favorite part of crafting, the flower making!!

Using Leftovers to Make Cards

I made a challenge for myself to only use flowers from my stash. The cards are simple – Heartfelt Creations paper pads has a couple pages designed to be cut apart for simple card bases, and that’s where I started.

For thin sides, I used the Floral frames stamp and die cuts, to fancy them up a bit – those were also made preciously and in my stash.

This one I layered with some gold foil to fancy it up.
Close up of some of my flowers – rejects, left over from previous projects that I just need to get out of my stash, as it is becoming way too large.
