Throwback Thursday

I made these cards quite a while ago, but for some reason never posted them here.

They are really sort of gift cards, and a unique element is the hangar on top, which allows the recipient to display it on a knob – like I have here in my kitchen.

The pink one is just a single sheet of paper decorated on both sides, the purple is an actual card, and even has a thin magnetic closure, which was required because of the heaviness of the back (see below).

It’s the chocolate bars, frankly, but maybe also because these are sorta “stuffed” with tags and mini-booklets!

Personally I think they are adorable, but then, I’ll admit, I’m kind of biased!

Thanks for stopping by!

This Card is so Extra!

Using a mix of papers from Heartfelt Creations, I’ve created a very special card, for a very special someone. This card has tags, and room for a Special photo, (or two) as well!

These little birdies are just so stinkin’ cute!! Also I’m in love with all the decorative Lacey dies, and you can see I incorporated several in this card. Here is a little video for you to see.

Swing Fold Card

For this card, I used the Romance Novel paper from Prima, and a couple of little blossom from Prima as well.

This was very fun to make! It is a little “fiddly” , and I was limited on the size of my card, because the paper pad was only 6” x 6”, however, look at the sweet images (which are going to be covered up by photos I suppose!).

More Peonies!

I’m loving the HFC Sweet Peony papers! Such a beautiful shade of pink, and it is so versatile, you can make cards for any occasion – from Sympathy to Anniversary! This first card has a “hidden” large tag for a little letter to the recipient.

The second one has a magnet holding the flowers on to the card. it was very simple & easy to put together. The hardest part was deciding which of the beautiful papers to use!
