Cheerful Daisies Greeting Card

This is another card made from Scrapandme’s “Aquarelles” paper. I’ll have to admit, I was surprised when I saw this and another sheet, as for some reason I thought the “aqua” in “Aquarelles” meant the papers would be, well, aqua. Doesn’t matter! I love the artistry, and love finding new paper products to play with!

This is also a Shaker Card, and hopefully you can see the little gold stars in the shaker box. I have a little wreath die that works nicely to place over the cardstock used for the shaker element, which led me towards the green base paper in the background there.

I had a lot of fun, for a change, making this shaker card! I’m got the kit from a place called Creative Embellishments, on-line, of course – it’s a craft store that is in New York – I just went searching for shaker card kits, and they popped up! They have a LOT of variety as far as shaker kits goes, and the kit is totally worth the couple of $$ you spend on them – the worst part is waiting on snail mail, for them to arrive!

This is going to be entered in the Challenge #92 – for Mom, by Scrapandme papers, especially because whenever I look at daisies, I think of my mom, I remember her often saying how much she loves daisies – perhaps not as much as she loves Plumeria (growing live in Hawaii), but still.

Thanks for stopping by, and please say hello!

Rustic Sunflowers (and Daisies)

A beautiful way to celebrate the fall, yellow, blue, and white, with some greenery mixed in!
This card was super simple, just make a couple of lacey borders with the …………die, cut and color your sunflowers and daisies (I actually used the Wild Aster die to make my daisies), add some leaves and glue them on! Presto, a beautiful card that is sure to impress.

Another sure winner from the Heartfelt Creations artists!
