Today is the anniversary of my fathers death 4 years ago. It’s still hard on all of us, despite our getting to keep him for 80 years. I made this little card for my mom, who lives 12 hours away from me, alone with her 2 cats, and German Shepherd.
I used Mintay’s “Dreamer” paper, and dressed it up with some flowers I created this morning, the “Roses” are just made using an old Martha Stewart punch, the little tiny lavender flowers from a generic punch as well, and the leaves are from a G45 die. The silver oval is an Heartfelt Creations die cut that I trimmed a little bit to show more of the pretty paper.

If you prop it just so, it is an easel card as well. I hope you like it!

Just a couple of designs, mixing it up, and trying for the Shabby chic look.
I used several doily type die cuts, gossamer ribbon, and Vellum flowers on one of them, the other has a standard paper flowers in the center and vellum for the others, all handmade, using the Heartfelt Creations dies, of course!

I even used vellum for the butterflies!
Paper is some Tim Holz I found at Tuesday Morning, it’s about 5”x 8” and has a fabric feel to it – very interesting and fun to work with.
I’m branching out….not very far, but a wee bit, to explore other decorative paper companies. This past week I received the Birds & Booms from Little Birdie Crafts, I had been wait listed for so long, I almost forgot about it!
This paper is thick, very thick. Think cover of a paperback book thick, and add some weight to it. It is also very glossy, on both sides, both the white & decorative side. That being said, I used a lighter weight paper for my card base, about 60#.

This entire card probably took a mere 90 minutes to put together, since I already had the flowers made, and in my stash for “emergencies “!
Once again, it is time to visit the ladies in the neighborhood, and see how they have been faring with the Pandemic/CoVid-19. I leave these on the doorstep with some homemade cookies or quick bread to let them know I’ve been thinking about them! (I haven’t had any complaints yet!)
These cards use the Sweet Peony paper from Heartfelt Creations, and some flowers (peonies) that I created out of vellum, and a rose out of paper, which was colored with Prisma water-color pencils.

This is a Hodgepodge of 3-4 different collections. For starters, I always use Heartfelt Creations dies for my flowers & lace, that’s basically all I have! But some of this paper is from Stamperia “Microcosms”, some from G45 “Flutter”, and there may even be some scraps from a Mintay collection. Mad at myself, because of flower placement (once it’s Hot-Glued down, there it stays, lol!) I couldn’t flip the front piece to prop it like a pedestal, hurumph! Live and learn I guess, I thought I had it all planned out so perfectly! Hahaha! No. I guess not. 😕

This is one of those times when I saw a card, and made it mine! Meaning that I saw one using the exact same background paper, and the lacy die-cuts, but when I went to decorating it, it took on a life of its own.

Using Heartfelt Creations Sea Breeze Collection, and the Courtyard Elegance die (folded in half, as you see) , I added some fern die cuts, and used the classic rose stamped in light oranges and yellows, and put in some stamens for a different look.
Definitely will do this one again, as it doesn’t quite fold perfectly flat (hot glue leaks through the cut outs behind the flowers anyway!) but I’m definitely tickled with how it turned out!
I made some cards for friends that we’ve been separated from during the pandemic & social distancing. Sometimes we can see our friends for lunch (outside seating!), sometimes not! So many people are going through a lot these days, so I’ve tried to give cards and a small treat to my friends, at least once a month. These are the ones I’ve made for them this week. (Plus some cupcakes!)
All of these use the Heartfelt Creations Regal Frames & Accents die, and the background paper is from my stash. The first one here has some yellow roses.

My second one is pink, with Double Petunias (I just love petunias!)

And the last one here is the Wild Aster. Asters are such a joy to make!

And now to make some cupcakes without eating them!

This little beauty was one day late for a contest, but is destined as a sort of “Thank You” Card. It includes some generic paper I picked up from Hobby Lobby, and all sorts of my Handmade Heartfelt Creations flowers. I also used one of the Heartfelt Creations Petite Pocket dies to add a wee bit of lace to the top and the bottom. I cut a butterfly out of gold paper from a Spellbinders die, and added the sentiment, lifted with a bit of foam, about 1/3 of the way down.

The inside has plenty of room for sentimental words, photos, or whatever you like? Enjoy, and show me your cards in the comments below, I’d love to see!
It’s amazing what you can create with scraps!! This card is created using Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose paper, I actually had to color the flowers and butterfly, as they just weren’t the right color, and I didn’t have any other scraps that would do. The dimensional flowers were created using the Wild Rose stamp and die set, the white blossom is from an old punch with a single prill in the centers.

The inside cover has a little mini-card for a secret message!
